HERE IS MY PIECE. ITS A VERY OLD DOOR OVER 100 YEARS
OLD AND ABOUT 8FT TALL!!!

I ACTUALLY SCORED THIS ONE FOR FREE
SO WOULD YOU HAVE TAKEN THIS ON??

 WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH IT?

    How absolutely scrummy! I would love to use a door like this IN my house but that wouldn't work as my ceilings are not high enough. It would be amazing used as a door leading to a 'secret garden'.

    Hi Lauren,
    The door is beautiful and free is fabulous!!! I am so curious to see what you did with it. I have a very similar door sitting in my basement right now. It came off of the house that my Dad grew up in and his father built the house in 1904. When someone was renovating the house a few years back they were going to throw out the doors....ugh!!! Luckily I was able to get my hands on that door and the front door too.

    Ooooooh, interesting. Well, I think I would be too intimidated to pay money for it (it's so big), but for FREE, I would welcome the challenge. Maybe I would use it in my garden as a trelis, or even cut it into multiple pieces and make some fun hand painted vintage looking signs. Hmmmm. Can't wait to see what you do :)

    Wow, such a lovely door. I would turn it into the color turqoise, with an old look to it.

    I'm busy now with my own upcycled furniture and right now I'm using turqoise :D

    Oh yes of course I would buy it and free is even better anyways I have been wanting one to make into a hall tree stand a local craft store just closed and she was asking a $100 I could kick myself for not getting it now but will someday make one

    She visited an antique market and met some very creative peeps there who made an amazing entryway bench from an old door!

    Yes k would buy it and use it for a decoration in my patio area, leaning in a corner with a few small shelves or wire baskets attached for plants and flowers. I adore it

    I'm such an Old Door/Hardward Addict that this piece took my breath away and especially that you were fortunate enough to score it for FREE!!! Lucky Gal! I have scored most of my old Doors the same way, the Family firmly believe I need Old Door/Hardware Intervention. *winks* I'd leave the finish "As Is" because I'm loving the White with that beautiful 1930's shade of Seafoam Green peeking through from a previous layer... I'm swooning over the Arch Windows... this certainly was a fab find... makes me wonder what Treasure of an Old Home it came out of and what became of the Home... or why would anyone take such a magnificent door off?! What could possibly replace it and look any better???
