I CAME UP WITH THE IDEA
TO MAKE A PIECE OF ART FOR MY GARAGE. ARMED WITH A PIECE OF PLYWOOD AND SOME PAINT BUSHES I WENT TO WORK...
I DREW THE DESIGN ON FIRST IN PENCIL AND THEN PAINTED FREEHAND.
AND THE RESULT TURNED OUT FABULOUS!!!
I DECIDED TO DO CAPTAIN AMERICA'S SHIELD WHICH I LOOKED UP ON THE INTERNET.
I DON'T KNOW IF YOU CAN TELL BY THE
PICTURES BUT THE SHIELD IS HUGE.
I'M SO HAPPY WITH THE WAY IT TURNED OUT
MY PARKING SPOT IS NOW RESERVED FOR MY
CAPTAIN AMERICA.
NEXT UP - THE SUPERMAN EMBLEM
THE GARAGE IS A GREAT PLACE TO EXPERIMENT
AND LET YOUR ARTIST COME OUT.
SO HAVE SOME FUN.
FABULOUS! And not only am I referring to the shield--but your garage! It's so CLEAN! How do you do it??
ReplyDeleteI should make this for my husband as a conciliatory gift when I get my garage cleaned out...
Lauren I loved your project! Mine was the wooden bunting... On to the next round!

How very fun! Would've been great for a boy's bedroom too. And yeah, I'm jealous of the clean garage.
ReplyDeletebest, nadia
How cute, I like it! It reminds me that my nephew painted a Superman on his side of the garage and a Wonderwoman on my niece's side!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to dress up the garage. Um ya, don't think there is any empty wall space in my garage!
ReplyDeletelove it! very cool idea.
