I LOVE FINDING OLD SHELVES AT THE THIFT STORE
BECAUSE I LOVE DOING LITTLE COLLECTIONS OF
MY THRIFT FINDS AND BEING ABLE TO STORE THEM IN ONE LITTLE SPACE.
JUST THE OTHER DAY I FOUND A LITTLE WOOD
BOX WITH A DESIGN OF A PLAYING CARD
AND AN OLD SLINKY, BROUGHT BACK MEMORIES
AND I COULD'NT PASS IT UP.
HERE IS WHAT THE SHELF LOOKED LIKE WHEN
I STARTED...
MUCH BIGGER THAN THE ONE I DID FOR MY
OFFICE YOU MAY REMEMBER IT. AND THIS TIME
I WANTED TO GET RID OF THE
ARCHED MOLDING.
THIS ONE HAS 15 LITTLE CUBBIES AND
THE OFFICE ONE HAD ONLY 9 I ENDED UP
HANGING THAT ONE ON THE WALL
THIS ONE I DECIDED JUST TO PUT ON THE
TOP OF A DRESSER IN MY GUEST ROOM
SO HERE IT IS I HOPE YOU LIKE IT..
I MADE THE NUMBER SIGN OUT OF AN
OLD LICENSE PLATE AND A HOSE CUPLER
I THINK THAT IS WHAT IT IS CALLED.
THE 68 STANDS FOR THE YEAR MY FIANCE
WAS BORN...
THIS PIECE OF CORAL I FOUND AT THE
THRIFT STORE IT WAS OLD AND
WHITE AND YELLOWED WITH AGE. BUT IT
WAS REAL CORAL AND I KNEW I WAS
GOING TO PAINT IT.
THE STATUE IS A COMIC CHARACTER CALLED
POISON IVY, HAD TO INCLUDE HER.
AND HERE ARE THE SLINKY AND THE CARD
BOX I FOUND !
SOME OLD DOOR HARDWARE...
IM STARTING AN OLD ALARM CLOCK
COLLECTION BUT THEY
ARE HARD TO COME ACROSS,
GUESS IM NOT THE ONLY ONE...
WELL I HOPE YOU ENJOYED IT , I LOVE THESE LITTLE SHELVES !!!
I love your little cubbie shelf and everything in it. Of course the clocks always speak to me and I love collecting them.

I love that you display the things I grab when I see them, then stick in a box. (Door hardware, game pieces, etc.) You've inspired me to use some of the vintage JARS I also grab and fill them with other favorite things. That way, I can enjoy them and be more inspired to create with them!
