VINTAGE INDUSTRIAL STOOL BEFORE AND AFTER!

THIS WAS A REALLY GREAT
PIECE TO WORK ON I
FOUND IT AT AN ESTATE SALE
AND PULLED IT OUT OF THE
RUBBLE IT WAS LAYING IN
I DON'T THINK THE
ESTATE SALE PEOPLE REALIZED
ITS POTENTIAL!I THOUGHT
IT WAS SO COOL AND THE LEGS
ACTUALLY ADJUST SO IT
YOU WANT TO USE IT AS A CHAIR
INSTEAD OF A STOOL YOU CAN!
GREAT FUNCTION!

HERE IS MY
INDUSTRIAL STOOL BEFORE...

AFTER...

TO DO THIS CHAIR I TOOK
OFF THE SEAT AND THE THE
BACK AND SPRAY PAINTED THE
FRAME A FLAT BLACK
I THEN USED MINWAX POLYSHADES
TO VARNISH THE SEAT AND
THE BACK.
I DID SAND THE TWO PIECES
BUT NOT TO MUCH AS TO
GET RID OF THE GREAT
MARKS AND COLOR THAT
MAKE THIS PIECE SO BEAUTIFUL!

I'M REALLY LOVIN' THE
INDUSTRIAL FEEL RIGHT NOW
AND PLAN TO DO SOME MORE
PIECES WITH THIS LOOK

HOPE YOU LIKE IT!

  18. Lauren,
I have almost the identical chair, but mine had some damage to the backrest, so I did something special to fix it. I'll be featuring you this week at Knick of Time Tuesday, where you'll be able to see my chair next to yours! Wish I had both of them!!

    Blessings,
