TEACUPS AND CANDLES!

THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS
FRIGHTFUL!

PERFECT WEATHER TO STAY PUT AND
ACTUALLY DO SOME OF THOSE
THINGS WE'VE BEEN
SAVING TO FOLDERS ON OUR PINTEREST.

NOT SURE WHERE EXACTLY I
SAW THIS IDEA BUT IT WAS THE ONE
ABOUT MELTING ALL YOUR OLD CANDLES
DOWN AND MAKING SOMETHING NEW AGAIN.SO I STARTED WITH ONE
BIG OLD RED CANDLE AND I MELTED
IT DOWN IN A POT THAT I PLACED
INSIDE A LARGER ONE WITH WATER
IN THAT ONE.

I DECIDED TO USE SOME OLD CHINA TEA CUPS THAT MY MOM
HAD GIVEN ME FOR MY GARAGE SALE
THAT DIDN'T SELL.

ONCE FULLY MELTED I POURED IT INTO
THE TEA CUPS

I PLACED A WICK DOWN INSIDE THE CUP THAT HAS A METAL BASE- I BOUGHT THESE AT HOBBY LOBBY.
THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE..

I POURED THE WAX IN FIRST AND THEN PLACED IN THE WICK AND HELD IT UP WITH A LITTLE METAL FORK WHICH I PLACED OVER THE RIM OF
THE CUP.

I WAITED AT BIT FOR IT TO
DRY AND THEN SNIPPED THE WICK
DOWN TO SIZE. AT THIS POINT YOU
CAN ALSO WIPE ANY LITTLE
WAX SPILLS YOU MAY HAVE GOTTEN
ON YOUR CUP.

THIS IS MY FINISHED PRODUCT!
I LOVE THESE CUTE LITTLE
ANTIQUE TEACUP CANDLES!

THE ONE BIG CANDLE WAS ENOUGH TO FILL 4 TEA CUPS!
BE SURE TO SAVE A LITTLE IN THE POT BECAUSE AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR WHEN THEY ARE DRYING A WELL FORMS AROUND THE WICK. SO DON'T CUT THE
WICK TO SHORT YOU WILL HAVE TO ALLOW FOR THIS.ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS POUR A LITTLE MORE IN AND LEVEL IT OFF!

THEY ARE GREAT LITTLE DECORATIONS
OR WOULD MAKE CUTE LITTLE
CHRISTMAS GIFTS!SO GATHER UP
THOSE CANDLES YOUR NOT USING OR THE ONES USED DOWN TO THE
VERYBOTTOM AND MAKE THEM NEW AGAIN. YOU COULD EVEN TRY
LAYERING THEM WITH DIFFERENT FRAGRANT CANDLES!
THE SKYS THE LIMIT!

AND THE HOUSE SMELLS DELICIOUS!

HAVE YOU DONE ANY OF YOUR
PINTEREST FAV'S?
