ROCKIN' ROBIN
was the name that popped into my head after
i painted this piece.
there she was way up high
but i spotted her the moment i walked into the thrift store !!!
before...
dingy and dirty and way up high
im glad she was because i dont think
anyone noticed little rockin robin.
or didnt want to take the time to have
someone get her down. ive gotten a
couple pieces this way.
and with a little tlc she became
part of the family.
after...
shes so beautiful i think i want to bring her indoors and use and enjoy her
inside my home...

ReplyDeleteLooks awesome and I love the color (as always)! Great find!
ReplyDeleteLovely, and I like the cushion you've used too. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous, love the color. My daughter has that exact chair in her room in white. We bought it at Pier One about 10-12 years ago. Your paint jobs got me thinking about adding a little color to her all white room...if she'll let me LOL.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I'm trying to convince my hubby to let me paint our wicker chairs a bright orange and then add turquoise pillows. So far he's not going for it!
ReplyDeleteGreat Find....and Great Re-Do!!

I am so inspired by your lovely robin egg blue trasformation. Just gorgeous! And that delightful pillow carries out the theme. I have an old wicker planter, I just wonder how it would look in a soft green. Your creatie post has opened my eyes to colored wicker!
