FANCY STENCILED FOOTSTOOL REDO!

I JUST GOT FINISHED WITH THIS
PIECE IT'S AN OLD FOOTSTOOL
I BOUGHT AT AN ESTATE SALE.

BEFORE-
THIS IS SIMILAR TO WHAT
MY FOOTSTOOL LOOKED LIKE, CAN'T
FIND THE ORIGINAL PIC.

I DECIDED TO TAPE OFF A
STRIPED DESIGN ON THE TOP
AND THEN PAINT OVER IT AND LET
THE WOOD FINISH COME THROUGH.
I ADDED A NUMBER 3 STENCIL TO
THE TOP AND PAINTED IT RED
TO PUNCH IT UP A LITTLE!

I GOT THE STENCIL AT LOWES
BACK BY THE MAILBOXES.

AND AFTER...
I DISTRESSED IT AND GAVE IT
THAT RUSTIC FEEL~

HOPE YOU LIKE IT. IM
GOING TO PUT MY FEET UP
AND HAVE SOME LEMONADE!

  23. What a great project you have there! I really love the vintage look and the number makes it so fun! I have a stool that I painted a neon pink but need to redo it because it's just a tad too bright...So glad you shared this at Sunday Blog Love. Love to see what you're up to!
