CRATE AND PALLET BEFORE AND AFTER!

I ACTUALLY FINALLY FINISHED A
PIECE OF MY OWN! AND NO
ONE WAS MORE SURPRISED THAN ME!
I ALSO LINKED THIS UP AT THE
JUNKER NEWBIE LINK PARTY

AS I HAD SHARED THE CRATE WHEN I
FIRST GOT IT UNFINISHED OVER
AT HER WOULD YOU BUY IT PARTY.
CHECK IT OUT!

I BEGAN THIS PROJECT OVER THE
SUMMER AND THESE ARE THE
PIECES I STARTED WITH

AN OLD GLASS CRATE THAT
A MAN GAVE ME WHEN HIS
GARAGE SALE ENDED AND HE COULD'NT
SELL IT!

AND AN OLD PALLET THAT
I TOOK APART

I WOULD PUT THIS TOGETHER FOR
THE TOP....

I STARTED WITH THE DESIGN.
AND YES IT IS A UNION JACK
DESIGN. I HOPE YOUR NOT TIRED OF
THOSE YET. I NEEDED MY OWN.

I FOUND THIS GUIDE ON THE INTERNET
ON HOW TO CORRECTLY DRAW THE
UNION JACK DESIGN.

I DREW THE DESIGN ON THE TOP PIECE
TO MY CHEST. AND HAD TO TAPE
EACH SECTION OFF WHEN I WAS
PAINTING

WELL AFTER PAINTING AND STAINING
AND ADDING ON SOME HARDWARE,
HANDLES AND WHEELS THIS IS
WHAT I CAME UP WITH AND
I HOPE YOU LIKE IT AS MUCH AS
I DO!

AFTER...

I BOUGHT THE OLD PULL AT
AN ANTIQUE SHOP!

AND MADE MY OWN ROPE
HANDLES, YOU CAN BUY THE ROPE
AT LOWE'S

I HAVE IT IN MY LIVING ROOM
RIGHT NOW HOLDING BLANKET
THROWS, BUT YOU COULD YOU IT FOR
ANYTHING, IN A KIDS ROOM FOR
TOYS MAYBE. I LOVE THE MASCULINE
FEEL IT HAS TO IT!

HOPE YOU DON'T MIND ALL THE
PICTURES, BUT I HAVEN'T DONE
A PROJECT LATELY AND I WANTED
TO SHOW IT OFF A LITTLE.
