Miss Bonnie Blu !!

AFTER WORKING ON THE TABLE FOR MY MOTHER
AND HAVING TO LET IT GO.I DECIDED I WOULD ALSO LIKE A PEDESTAL TABLE.
I WAS SO LUCKY TO FIND THIS ONE AT THE THRIFT STORE A FEW WEEKS LATER..

SHE STARTED OUT A PLAIN OLD TABLE
I THINK SHES PINE. THERE WAS
A WAS A PLACE WHERE THERE WAS WOOD
MISSING OUT ON THE SIDE LIKE A NOTCH.
I FIXED THAT LATER WITH WOOD PUTTY.

HERE IS MISS BONNIE BLU IN HER HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

I HAD FIRST PAINTED HER A NICE TAN BUT THOUGHT SHE LOOKED A LITTLE TO PLAIN SO I DECIDED ON A BLUE SHADE FOR HER
WITH A LITTLE OF THE TAN SHOWING THROUGH..

AND HERE MISS BONNIE BLU IS AFTER HER
MAKEOVER...

I AM LOVIN HER ! AND
THIS ONE IS MINE ALL MINE :)

I HAVE'NT GOTTEN A PROJECT DONE IN OVER
A MONTH, WITH THE HOT WEATHER AND
SUMMER FUN ITS BEEN A LITTLE HARD.
BUT HERE SHE IS AND I HOPE YOU THINK
SHE WAS WORTH THE WAIT..
XOXO

  30. Love the contrast between the blue and the darker stain. Fabulous. Question: I have a similar table. It's hideous and I always cover it. But mine has a crack running down the middle where you can attach an extra sheath (which we don't have). What would you advise, in terms of remodeling? Will wood putty work in a situation like this? Thanks!
