OLE' TIME 3 MIRROR MEDICINE CABINET REDO

HAD POSTED A FEW WEEKS AGO
ASKING THE QUESTION,
SHOULD I KEEP MY OLD
3 MIRROR MEDICINE CABINET?
OR IS THAT TO
OLD FASHIONED, SHOULD
I REPLACE IT WITH A PLAIN MIRROR
IN MY BATHROOM?

EVERYONE SAID GET RID
OF IT AND JUST USE A MIRROR..
WELL I COULDN'T
RESIST A CHALLENGE.

I LIKE BEING ABLE TO STORE MY
TOOTHBRUSH AND COSMETIC'S
ETC... IN A EASY TO REACH
PLACE. SO I FIGURED, WHAT DO
I HAVE TO LOSE...

THIS IS THE PIECE IN
QUESTION...
BEFORE...

PRETTY GENERIC LOOKING!

SO HERE IT IS AND I HOPE
YOU LIKE MY DECISION TO
KEEP IT.

SO WHAT DO YOU THINK?

  5. Lauren- We're getting ready for a home appraisal and just finished up putting a beautiful new light fixture in our main bathroom. We have the exact same cabinet, but I've been scared to paint it. This looks fabulous! Thanks for sharing! Angela @ Mrs. White Twig and Tea

  6. You took a good decision!I didn't see the potential! And now looks great with the wall color, with the light fixture... I think works perfect for your needs, has an eclectic look, upgrade the mirror and you didn't expend that much! Great job!

  19. You are a Rock Star! Pure genius to keep it and make it work and I love those knobs. You actually made it lok vintage and awesome. Thanks for helping all of us to remember to try a recycle first. If it doesn't work, it only cost you some paint and a few knobs and at the price of mirrors today, that's a bargain!

  22. Hi there,

This might be a silly question, but how did you paint the wood? Did you remove the doors or did you tape all around the mirror?

    Thanks!

  23. I love the added knobs. This is a great idea, because I have a mirror exactly like this and hates the way you have to push to open the doors on the mirror. The knobs not just beautiful , but very practical .

  24. I have this same mirror/cabinet in my bathroom....great job! I'm going to try and take the middle mirror out and leave that open, paint the inside and wood frame as well. Thank you for the idea!
