i was so excited about this cabinet when i found her at the
thrift store. i knew that she was going to be really special when i got done with her. very antique looking, i love the glass door and the carvings along the bottom. she was just asking to be bought. my fiance was with me the day we got her hes actually the one who spotted her.
i also knew she wanted to be green- think green.
i gave her the name
ANNE OF GREEN GABLES

I have this very cabinet, was my grandmother's first piece purchased in about 1923 at Haverty's Furniture in Atlanta, GA it is written on the back. It was veneer just like this one. She called it a Pie Safe.
