  1. My husband and I go to carshows. I have a 69 suburban. (lovingly referred to as BigRed). We have a 37 Plymouth coupe. Love old cars!!! My son has a Rat Rod (which is what the first truck you pictured is often referred as). We go to the street rod nationals in Louisville every year. There are over 12,000 street rods.....a sight to see.

  4. Hi Lauren:

No you are not the only one. My husband and I have a 1960 corvette and he attends car shows almost weekly in the summer. Its fun to ride in it especially when we take it along the Potomac from DC to Mt. Vernon. You would be surprise by the amount of people who do own vintage autos!

  8. Car shows are really fun to watch. Owners get the chance to showcase their vintage vehicles to the audience. I particularly like the Old Mustang car. It has this classic feel and it looks smashing. It’s truly is a classic American muscle car.

  9. I agree with you Lauren. This sure feels like the set of an old Hollywood movie. I cannot blame you, though. These vintage cars are awesome. They give you that vintage-feel that never goes out of style. Good thing you can still see some of these classic pieces on the road.

  10. Those vintage beauties look smashing! Well, good job on the restorations! All the cars look good as new. The owners did pretty well bringing back the glory of these old road horses. Even the paint and the chrome look new and fresh. But what caught my attention is the truck. The restoration looks rather unique, especially with “stitch “style.

  11. Lauren~~ just showing my husband around your blog and spotted this post! We have a 1930 model A ford in our garage that's a work in progress. Before our kids we had a '64 pickup truck that was really cool and so much fun to drive. We do car show all the time and they are a lot of fun to walk through!

  12. No doubt, my favorite would be the steampunked Chevy! There are a lot of custom car mod concepts, but for me, steampunk is the coolest! The art used notably gave the car a classic, antique appeal from the Victorian era.
