CHARMING TRUNK

AN ELEPHANT NEVER FORGETS HIS TRUNK...
I DONT KNOW WHAT THAT HAS TO DO WITH THIS BUT IT JUST POPPED INTO MY
HEAD. I FOUND THIS OLD WHITE WICKER TRUNK AT THE TRIFT STORE FOR 6.99 AND I GOT 25% OFF BECAUSE I BOUGHT IT ON A THURSDAY. SO I FIGURED IT WAS A
DEAL EVEN THOUGH I WAS HESITANT ABOUT THE WICKER. I HAVE NEVER WORKED WITH WICKER AND THOUGHT NO MATTER WHAT I DID THAT THIS WOULD STILL HAVE A BORING LOOK. I SANDED DOWN THE HARDWARE AND PAINTED IT WITH
OIL RUBBED BRONZE SPRAY PAINT. AND ASKED FOR ADVISE FROM MY FIANCE, WHO HAS STARTED GIVING ME IMPUT ON ITEMS. HE DONATED A FEW OF HIS BELTS, AND A FEW IDEAS WHICH CREATED THE LOOK OF THE TRUNK..

BEFORE...

AND THE AFTER...

IT WAS A LEARN AS YOU GO PROCESS AND IT THINK IT WORKS...

  7. Great job on the trunk. I have a trunk that has lost its key and I hate to break it to see what's inside. I may need to call a locksmith.
