THRIFT STORE FINDS CONTINUED....

I STAYED UP IN UPSTATE NY FOR THE WHOLE
WEEK SO THE NEXT DAY I WENT BACK TO THE ANTIQUE/THRIFT STORE.
I WANTED TO TAKE A LITTLE MORE TIME AND
LOOK THROUGH THE LITTLE SHOPS AGAIN.AND
IM GLAD I DID BECAUSE I FOUND..

UNDERWOOD THE TYPEWRITER
I HAD TO HAVE THIS TYPEWRITER,
MY FRIEND THOUGHT I WAS CRAZY. THIS
TYPEWRITER WEIGHED ABOUT 20LBS AND
I BELIEVE ITS FROM THE EARLY 1900'S
I TOOK THE TYPEWRITER BACK TO MY
MOMS HOUSE AS THIS IS WHERE I WAS STAYING
AND WANTED TO CLEAN IT UP.
MY NEPHEW DILLON WAS THERE

AND HE LOVED THE TYPEWRITER
HE WANTED TO BE IN CHARGE OF
CLEANING IT.

HE WOKE ME UP THE NEXT DAY AND
SAID HE WAS WAITING FOR ME TO GET
UP SO HE COULD PLAY WITH UNDERWOOD.
HE DID A GREAT JOB
I THOUGHT THE WHITE ON THE KEYS HAD
WORN OFF BUT DILLON SCRUBBED EACH ONE
WITH A TOOTH BRUSH AND SHAZAM....

before the clean up-

I WISH YOU COULD HAVE SEEN THE GUNK AND
DIRT ON IT I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN
MORE BEFORE PICTURES.

WE USED WD40 ON THE INSIDE MECHANICS
AND CLEANED IT OUT AS IT HAD
LITTLE LEAVES INSIDE. ITS MISSING
A FEW KEYS WHICH I WILL LOOK FOR ON EBAY.

AFTER THE CLEANUP-

DILLON WANTED ME TO LEAVE THE
TYPEWRITER WITH HIM AND HE TOLD
ME HE WOULD HAVE IT FINISHED
BY THE TIME I CAME UP AGAIN...
I TOLD HIM I WOULD BRING IT BACK UP
NEXT TIME I VISITED. HES SO CUTE

PRICE OF THE TYPEWRITTER $10
THE TIME I GOT TO SPEND RESTORING IT
WITH MY NEPHEW...

PRICELESS

THANK YOU FOR YOU HELP DILLON
I LOVE YOU...

ANOTHER CUTE LITTLE ITEM I BROUGHT
HOME WITH ME IS THIS OLD
HORSE SHOE.

I SAW A FEW THINGS THERE THAT WERE NICE BUT I DIDNT BUY
JUST WANTED TO SHARE THE PICTURES

I CAME SO CLOSE TO BUYING THIS BUT THE DRAWERS WERE NOT COMPLETE DRAWERS I THINK I MIGHT OF BEEN USED FOR HOLDING MAPS?
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS WAS USED FOR...
SO IM BACK IN NJ
BUT IM SURE I WILL BE PAYING THIS
LITTLE SHOP A VISIT NEXT TIME IM IN THE AREA

THIS IS A SHOT OF THE COUNTRY ROAD
I DROVE DOWN TO GET TO THE SHOPPE
