DAY AND JUST COMPLETED ONE.
I HAVE NEVER DONE A REVIVAL OF A BIRDCAGE
SO THIS WAS NEW TO ME...
BOTH CAGES ONLY COST ME $8.00 FOR THE
PAIR AND I THOUGHT THAT WAS A GREAT DEAL
I'VE SEEN SOME BEAUTIFUL BIRD CAGES ON LINE THAT ARE BEING USED IN DECORATING AND
I FIGURED I'D GIVE IT A SHOT.
HERE IS WHAT SHE LOOKED LIKE WHEN I FOUND
HER.
LOOKING KINDA WORN AND I DID'NT LIKE THE DESIGN ON
THE FRONT I WANTED TO FRESHIN' HER UP!!!
SO HERE SHE IS
WITH A BRIGHTER, SPRING TIME LOOK
FOR NOW SHE FOUND HER WAY TO MY
BEDROOM !!!
A NICE TOUCH TO BRING THE OUTDOORS
INSIDE.
I LOVE HER AND I CAN'T WAIT TO
GET STARTED ON THE OTHER ONE.
ANY COLOR SUGGESTIONS??
Love the green! I actually liked the color of it in the before, minus the design. I'd go for orange the next time around.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! I love the green and have been happy that's the color you've been using on your projects lately. I have to agree with Jill though and say that you should use orange on the other one, although red would be fun, too.
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that your chose to paint the bird house green! Most paint them white! This is very unique and I love unique!
ReplyDeleteThe new color is so lovely.
ReplyDeleteNo way! You scored two of these for $8? I'm a little jealous! I've been looking for some bird cages like this! I love what you did with it! That green looks like it was made for that cage!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find! Love the new color you chose, and it looks great in your bedroom. For the other one...maybe an aqua-ish blue?
ReplyDeleteSO pretty! I love it! I have seen some really chic looking black birdcages with distressed edges, and of course, i'm an aqua girl at heart....maybe with starfish or seashells inside it. Can't wait to see what you go :)

Love the green Lauren. Looks great in the yard.
ReplyDeleteBoy, I am a bit jealous! $8.00 for both??? AWESOME DEAL!! Where do you live that you get deals like that??? I read a comment that someone liked the before, which I did too, but was then WOWED by the after, which I am also!! You do GREAT work!!! Do you do any tutorials of your techniques or products you use? For Color on the other cage, I would probably like a deep read, with a black undertone. I don't know how to do that, but I can visualize it. Then I would put some ivy or another plant in it.
ReplyDeleteOh I am birdhouse obsessed! Love the look of them and yours looks awesome in green! Hope you will share with my Pink Hippo Party @ http://pinkapotamus.blogspot.com/2011/06/pink-hippo-party-34.html
