MISS HEAVY CREAM!!!

FINALLY I HAVE
A PIECE TO SHOW. I DUBBED
HER MISS HEAVY CREAM. I'VE
BEEN SO BUSY LATELY AND
PROJECTS ARE GETTING DONE
AS FAST AS I USED TO.
BUT I HAVE A GOOD ONE TO
SHOW YOU.

I GOT THIS PIECE ONLINE
FOR FREE ON CRAIGSLIST
A NICE COUPLE WAS JUST
GIVING IT AWAY WITH THE
FOUR CHAIRS. THAT WILL BE
ANOTHER POST WHEN I CAN
GET TO THEM.

THIS IS HOW THE TABLE
LOOKED WHEN I PICKED IT
UP...

AND AFTER A LITTLE
TLC...I USED VALSPAR
CREAM DELIGHT WITH
MY OWN BLEND OF CALCIUM
CARBONATE TO TURN IT INTO
DIY CHALKPAINT!

AND HERE SHE IS-

I LOVE THE RUSIC FINISH
THAT THE WOOD HELPED ME TO
ACHIVE IN THE FINISHED
PROJECT, ITS HARD TO TELL IN
THE PICKS BUT IT HAS A NICE
WHITE WASHED EFFECT.I WANTED
TO SEE SOME OF THE GRAIN OF
THE WOOD...

SORRY I TOOK SO MANY PIC'S
BUT I HAD A GOOD
SUBJECT AND I HAVEN'T
COMPLETED A PROJECT IN
AWHILE, FEELS GREAT! HOPEFULLY
MY NEXT PROJECT WILL TURN UP
SOONER.

HOPE YOU LIKE HER AS MUCH
AS I DO!

  7. Beautiful! I sold an identical table a few years back at an estate sale. Kind of wishing I'd kept it now!

  8. Very nice job on this table Lauren. I have the exact same dining table and gave it a similar makeover. The white pedestal legs look so beautiful with a dark stained top. Love it! Visiting from the Fabulously Creative Party.
