RESTYLED DROP LEAF COFFEE TABLE!

MY MOM FOUND THIS TABLE AT THE
THRIFT STORE AND ASKED ME IF
I WOULD REDO IT FOR HER.
IT WAS PRETTY SCRATCHED UP
AND SHE WANTED A MORE UPDATED
LOOK FOR THE PIECE.

HERE IT IS IN
THE BEGINNING...

SHE REALLY LIKED THAT THE SIDES
FOLD DOWN AND THAT IS WAS
NARROW AND SHE COULD PUT
IT IN A SPACE THAT WAS A LITTLE
TIGHT.

HERE IS WHAT I CAME UP
WITH!

AFTER...

I SANDED DOWN THE TOP
AND GAVE IT A MISSION OAK
FINISH ON THE TOP AND THE LEGS
ARE A TAN OOPS PAINT WITH
ALOT OF DISTRESSING...

WITH SOME HELP FROM THE BEAUTIFUL
LANDSCAPING IN THE COUNTRY AND
MY MOMS BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS
I WAS ABLE TO TAKE SOME
GORGEOUS PICS!

SIDES DOWN VIEW!

NOTHING LIKE FALL
FOLIAGE~

LOVE HER HYDRANGEA's

SORRY GOT CARRIED AWAY~
HOPE YOU LIKE HER....

  2. I can't believe you found a drop leaf table on I love Lucy to accompany your post. It made me laugh out loud. (I always look forward to your introductions.) I love the deep dark glassy top on your mother's table that you captured perfectly in your photos.

  3. Oh My Goodness!!!! I have never seen Hydrangeas like that! Stunning props for your photo shoot......which by the way...you can never have too many photos as far as I'm concerned! You have done a beautiful job bringing that table back to life. I love that you made the top dark, it really beings attention to the detail of the curvy legs.

    Smiles!

  7. You've been caught having done a Fabulous Furniture piece and you are featured at Friday Five. I hope you take the time to stop by and see your feature.

Stunning work. The color and warmth along with slight distressing touches deserve to be seen repeatedly. One of my favorite inspirations.
