JUST A LITTLE PEEK BEFORE....

I WANTED TO GIVE YOU A GLIMPSE OF
THE PROJECT IM WORKING ON
HOPEFULLY I'LL HAVE IT DONE THIS
WEEKEND!!!

IVE BEEN FEELING A LITTLE PRESSURED TO
GET A PROJECT DONE AS I REALLY HAVEN'T
COMPLETED ANYTHING RECENTLY.
AND I SEE POST AFTER
POST OF GREAT FURNITURE RESTORES.
I'VE STARTED A FEW THINGS BUT WITH THE
WEATHER JUST STARTING TO GET BETTER
ITS BEEN TOUGH TO GET OUTSIDE AND
GET THESE DONE.

SO HERE IT IS...
BEFORE
I ACTUALLY PAINTED IT RED A FEW
YEARS AGO AND JUST HUNG IT UP
BUT ITS TO PLAIN AND THE COLOR
DOESN'T REALLY DO ANYTHING FOR IT.
IT STARTED OUT  ON OUR HOUSE , IT WAS
OUR PICTURE WINDOW IT WAS WHITE AND
DIRTY AND THE PAINT WAS CHIPPING OFF.
WHEN WE HAD THE WINDOWS REDONE
I PUT IT IN THE GARAGE.
I KNEW I WOULD PULL IT OUT SOONER OR LATER.
AS I WAS NEVER HAPPY WITH THE WAY IT
TURNED OUT I DECIDED I WOULD TACKLE IT AGAIN.

IT'S COME A LONG WAY BABY AND I CANT
WAIT TO PUT THE FINISHING TOUCHES ON IT
AND SHOW YOU..

STAY TUNED FOR THE REVIVAL

  1. I cant wait to see the finished project. I know what you mean about trying to get projects completed I have started sanding down a piece of furniture to repaint & I have a chair Ive been thinking of upholstering forever but running a fulltime business, preparing to move & having a family has kind of tied up a lot of my time. But I see all these wonderfull makeovers & feel completely guilty!!

  2. I'm looking forward to seeing what you've done with this. I know what you mean about seeing everyone else's finished projects. I guess blogging has it's positives and negatives - it motivates you to get your butt into gear and do something, yet when you don't, you feel a certain amount of pressure and guilt. But remember some people are just happy to hear what other things you've been up to, so don't feel bad! x
